iphone - Related concept for iOS like "APK Expansion Files in Android" -


i'm expecting suggestions concept related apk expansion files in android.

google play requires apk file no more 50mb. applications, plenty of space application's code , assets. however, apps need more space high-fidelity graphics, media files, or other large assets. previously, if app exceeded 50mb, had host , download additional resources when user opens app. hosting , serving files can costly, , user experience less ideal. make process easier , more pleasant users, google play allows attach 2 large expansion files supplement apk.

does apple give support this?

in case have 180mb audio file, don't want keep app resource. after installation want download apple store.

i can able keep in server , download when app opens first time, know there other way supplement ipa.

the maximum size of ipa 2gb. sizes upper 50mb downloaded through wifi or itunes. ipa less downloaded through 3g network. try make app size minimum possible users don't apps larger size.. there's no thing here in ios apk extension files in android.. 1 single ipa compressed form of binaries , resources.
