mongodb - How to know if a java Mongo driver is compatible with a given Mongo Server? -


i evaluation upgrade java-mongo-driver 2.11.1 i'm not sure if it's backwards compatible.

the release notes doesn't specify compatibility of driver, can't sure if need update production server.

even-though specific needs backwards compatible know if there convention between driver version number , mongo version give hint of compatibility.

you can find compatibilities drivers starting 2.11 here. 2.11 version supports mongodb 2.4
