WEKA GetRandomSeed() vs Java Random(long seed) -


i sorry if question lame.

i new weka.

i different results between weka simple k-means algorithm , java implemented k-means algorithm friend , has been working on.

does different function used weka , our function random seed value matter?

we use java's random(long seed) function, while apparently according research weka uses own weka api has getrandomseed() on it.

any idea appreciated. , please correct me if research wrong.
