search did not return relevat. developer want know perspectives of releasing app android 2.x.x. see there still many phones running it, looks being discontinued number of phones should decreasing, right? should or should not target it?

google recommends target latest api level always, because developer can use best available solutions.now distribution of devices this according data collected during 14-day period ending on may 1, 2013.

you can see around 40% below api 11 , believe me around 50% few weeks ago.. not recommended in market sense also. see dashboards

but if going implement special features need work in versions fine.
