.net - Pass Parameter From Main Report To Subreport -


i have object datasource fill , use on main report. trying pass 1 of properties object parameter subreport. instructions i've read online are:

  1. right-click subreport , click subreport properties.
  2. click parameters list item , click add add parameter.
  3. type in name parameter , value. (here i've named "miscupdates" name of object property wish pass subreport. value set =first(fields!miscupdates.value, "dsreport")

basically these of instructions i've read , not provide me option add parameter value in textbox within subreport itself. how can access in subreport?

problem had go subreport first , add parameter in report data pane under parameters same name first.
