Simple GUI interface and web services for database -


i've looked around , haven't found quite i'm looking for. teach health course involves doctors , nurses don't have experience programming. planning teach students extending clinical information systems developing database , exposing queries , use using web services. done technical experience. teach students concept hands on exercises. students focus more on concept coding. there free or open source database program allows users create simple database, develop simple gui database (for hypothetical data collection), , expose data using web services. mind you, needs simple enough non-programmers able use minimal coding experience.

well, broad question, database word doesn't final task , it's generic, suggest base libreoffice suite or equivalent counterpart from openoffice , both same product if care core features.
