image - Why does this JPG render differently with each refresh? -

a little background: coworker creating "glitch-art" from, using this link. deleted bytes jpeg image, , created result:

http://jmelvnsn.com/prince_fielder.jpg

the thing that's blowing mind here, chrome rendering image differently on each refresh. i'm not sure understand how image-rendering code non-deterministic. what's going on?

edit>> wish stackoverflow stop redirecting url imgur url.

actually it's interesting know jpg standard it's not standard imaging techniques or imaging algorithms, it's more standard container.

as far know if respect jpeg standard can decode/encode jpeg x number of different techniques , algorithms, that's why it's hard support jpeg/jpg, programmer prospective jpg can million things , it's hard handle kind of fragmentation, times forced jump on train offered library , hope users wouldn't experience trouble it.

there no standard way encode or decode jpeg image/file ( including algorithms used in processes ), considering apparent "weird" result offered browser 100% normal.
