paypal - IPv6 support in Payments Pro -


i hoping can me out real quick this. based on documentation paypal payments pro, ip address required value. however, appears paypal not yet support ipv6. should send along ip address when user has ipv6 address instead of older ipv4 address paypal supports? have had transactions declined due "invalid" format when v6 address sent, , become worse time goes on , more , more internet providers use ipv6.

from documentation:

ipaddress (required) ip address of buyer's browser. note:

paypal records ip addresses means detect possible fraud.

character length , limitations: 15 single-byte characters, including periods, example, 255.255.255.255

one thing should complain paypal rejection of ipv6. can use many sorts of workarounds real solution should come paypal , should support ipv6 in payment system. 1 workaround converter, have sit in middle , conversion:( http://ipv6.ztsoftware.net/ipv4-to-ipv6/ ) , not sure if ipv4 blacklisted :-)
