New pages aren't being published to the right library (SharePoint 2010) -


i created new pages library, "news pages", on 1 of subsites.

beforehand, created custom site columns, added site content type, , created new page layout using site columns. page layout used default when new page created.

but when create new page, fill out fields , publish, it's appearing in subsite's default "pages" library, not "news pages" library.

how go changing setup new pages published "news pages" library instead?

the sharepoint publishing infrastructure built handle 1 pages library per web site. means run problems trying add library (believe me, i've tried ;))

the way have multiple pages libraries create sub site , use it's pages library.
