linux - Why sometimes linking with .so files give linker errors? -

i curious issue .so linking fails, whenever use static libs (.a) doesn't. have idea on that?

for example in linux have used libcrypto.a lib ok every compilation time. libcrypto.so inconsistent. root cause of that?

the error shows : ld: libcrypto.so in wrong file format

ok. solved it. right @n.m. comment worked me.

your expert wrong. reason of inconsistent behaviour may broken hardware. try running memtest86 , whatever disk check utility filesystem uses. – n.m.

thanks.
