google chrome extension not working in developer mode -


i have extension worked fine when integrated google chrome web browser "chrome web store" using "add chrome" button.

heres extension talking "https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/simple-startup-password/ojoalkffommhmdmbohjphohoejjmgepc?hl=en-us&utm_source=chrome-ntp-launcher"

as known source code of extension can found @ location "c:\users\\appdata\local\google\chrome\user data\\extensions"

i know how add extension google chrome in "developer mode" provided have required source codes.

i copied source code of same extension given (above) location folder , had tried adding chrome in developer mode extension. code dint work.!

can me this...please
