store logo not displayed instead logo alt message displaying in magento


i've given in config->design->header
image : image/img.jpg
image alt : logo
but in home page didn't show logo instead display image alt

make sure you've kept img.jpg in correct folder

eg: skin \ frontend \ packagename \ themename \ images \ img.jpg

flush magento cache , see if comes up.

if prob still exists check if folder permissions set right.
