sudo - WinSCP/CuteFTP - Download files owned by another user -

i have "sudo user" account created on server.

when using putty, sudo "operation" allows me operation without problems; have 37m file need check , need download local machine; problem winscp/cuteftp unable download file owned user. there way download file without changing owner?

when connect via putty switch user using sudo privilege. copy file under /tmp folder. after able download file via winscp/cuteftp.
